The programs that you will be introduced to when you open your Computer! Now, you have installed your antivirus, however you have to know that your computer has a lot of programs already installed on it. The list of programs that come with Windows:
Paint: Used for having fun and painting sketches(Kids have fun with such programs)
Internet explorer: Now even though you don't have WIFI, you are still gonna have internet explorer, however, it just won't work without WIFI. You can add WIFI to your computer as Wireless internet or cable(I recommend Firefox)
Windows Movie Maker: Windows Movie Maker is used to make home movies. Its very helpful if you have some footage or some photos on your camera and you just want to put them together. A lot of youtubers use movie maker to make vlogs and comedy skits(I used to use it myself).
Windows Media Player: Windows Media Player is used to play video or audio or video and audio at the same time. For example, if you want to listen to a song on your PC computer , they automatically move you to windows media player to listen to that song file when you click it. And as i said , you can also play video on it . For example, the short film you made on windows movie maker will be exported and will be played on windows media player.
Windows Media Center: This software is mostly used for playing movies when you insert them to your CD import disk that is connected to your laptop or Computer(Some net books don't have a CD import Disk)
Calculator: Calculating
Snippet tool: Taking snippets of your screen that will be converted to photos.
Games: You should know that a lot of computers come with games excluding the 64-bit system computers(64-bit system computers are used for graphics and editing) Windows Live Photo Gallery: A software that stores Photos.
Windows Dvd Maker: Burn Music or video into a CD. These are the Basic computer programs that come with windows computer.
But there are a lot more but these are the most important.
Software that comes with Apple Mac:
Imovie: Its the mac version of windows movie maker , its used for the same purposes.
Garage Band: This program is used to compose music and a lot of professionals use this and it is very useful.
Itunes: Itunes is used to download and play music , its like the windows media player of mac but you can download songs with itunes and not windows media player(Itunes can also be installed on a windows computer by going to the apple website and downloading from there).
Idvd: With this program, you can convert video or music to a DVD.(Exactly like windows DVD maker).
Photobooth: Its a program that records video and takes Pictures through you webcam.
Safari: Its like internet explorer but for mac.
